I've heard of people being caught with their pants down, but this?

Did the police bust them--or bustle them?

Now I know what the ELO meant by "The Birmingham Blues."

There is a piece of lovely History in Avignon which is very picturesque too ..although medieval rather than Victorian.

I have some friends who bought and renovated an old (and important) church in Avignon. They researched the history and found that at the time of the Pope being based in Avignon (roughly a hundred years), there was a convent attached to the church dedicated to saving 'fallen women'...in the archives there was the criteria that these 'fallen women' should be only aged about 16 to 20, 'fair of face', in 'good health', and were allowed no contact with the outside world except for visits from Cardinals. Funnily enough they dedicated their lives after being 'saved' to running an 'orphanage' bringing up babies
destined for the Church !!
