...the operative word being 'trying' - in both senses.

But do carry on, Chris. I'm not bored any more. You've succeeded so far in giving the impression that you are apostrophe illiterate and in dire need of a teacher's pearls of wisdom on the subject.

Clearly not everyone reading along knows how meticulous you are away from the pub (hic!) and that you can out-apostrophe anyone on the boards - when you are not opening threads and trying to be trying.

(That was a compliment by the way. So you don't need to look like you're sucking on the lemon from my gin and tonic.)
