This is rubbish. he might have been there when Feldman postulated a new possible provenance, or when Feldman aired a new theory as to provenance but he was not there when "the provenance was changed" because the provenance cannot change or be changed when it was never established in the first instance.

Theories can change but the provenance cannot be "changed". There is only one provenance and we do not know what it was.

So give it a rest with the verbal flim flam for God sake.

As to K.Skinner....I do not really care. What he has to do with the physical impossibility of "changing provenances" is beyond me.

If you do not know something....you cannot change it.

There is only one provenance, which we do not know, it cannot be changed.

A theory as to the provenance can be changed. But thats hardly a crime or big news or even worth blathering on about.

Well... I think that if this thread is sent to Pub Talk then the whole Maybrick should go too, since the Maybrick bunch have NEVER proved their claim that it is genuine, have they ?

Show me the proof and I would believe the nonsense but as more than a decade has now passed... I think it highly unlikely that a fake diary will over night become " genuine " at the moment it continues to be only a worthless photograph album nothing more.

If this thread is being sent to Pub Talk I would say there is favouritism for the authors and all those who financially gain from the hoax by selling their books on the hoax.

But on the contrary... Grey Hunter has written he was there when the provenance of the diary was changed because the building they at first claim it came from... had been demolished ! When this piece of information had been told to Feldman... he simply changed the venue of the provenance err... if that is not being deceitful... I donīt know what it is.

I think there is no doubt that the diary is not genuine ... not even worth discussing.
It's more about the 'provenance' of the hoax diary .. to see how that has been used for deceit and profit. That can be proved when the true origins of it are known to all.

Finally, if this thread has been moved to Pub Talk .. just because Steve Powell posted a picture expressing his thoughts ... instead of using words,
which really put his point across well, then I find that most strange.
Maria talked of favouritism ... I agree, and there well could be more.

You are right it wasnīt expounded by me but by a very credible witness Grey Hunter. He was there...

And I was there when the diary crowd where going to release the additional 10 pages supposedly found years later after the diary was found.... funny that.. and when I laughed at Shirley Harris in her face if she really expected me to believe in such a fairy tale, the womanīs face became very sour just as though she had eaten lemons.

The other funny thing is that they decided not to release the additional 10 pages after all. Maybe that was too much of a hard pill to swallow.

But there are people like you, who would believe anything including fairies !

I feel the reply that you received from the Holy Father .... "Get Stuffed"... is possibly just sour grapes on his part.
Now that you have bought Steves name to the Holy Fathers attention.. he has checked his list, and seen that one
of his flock has gone missing, and is unlikely to return. In his youth, the young Steve abandoned the faith to follow the Buddha.
The Holy Father appears to be putting numbers ahead of the truth .. he does know, that Steve has some answers
and some truthful knowledge on this diary hoax.

First: the Pope could have been sitting in Feldmans office and could not have seen the provenance change. Because the provenance, there being only one, cannot change. Theories as to the provenance can change, opinions as to it can change...but it itself cannot. Saying that it can implies Feldman had created the actual provenance and I doubt there are many who will argue that he did.
