    Has anyone attempted to trawl through these types of videos on YouTube to find any ripper related footage? I reckon there might be some hidden nuggets featuring shots related to the case.

      nice one. I find it noticeable that the streets were a lot cleaner in 1927 than they are today, despite the obvious advancement in street cleaning technology....

      It doesn't pertain to this thread but there are a lot of pictures from Victorian times in the "East End Photographs and drawings" thread (single-handedly the greatest ever Casebook thread for those who don't have a horse in the suspects' race) where I wondered if the Ripper, unbeknown to anyone else, was staring right into the camera and we have all seen his face without realising...
