  • Paul Dacre Resigns

    Question 1:
Is Britain a better place without Paul Dacre in Fleet Street?

    Question 2:
Is the question above a rhetorical one?

    1. Don't know, who is replacing him?

    2. No.

      Who is he?
      G U T

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.

Exactly my question. So I looked him up.

Seems a cynical sort of a fellow when it comes to selling papers. Is the "Daily Mail" conservative or liberal?

          Hi Pat,

The Mail is about as Consevative as you can get. There's always been something a bit sinister about Dacre.

              Hi Sam

As they used to say in Fleet Street "Never let the truth spoil a good story"

I’m not saying they’re vindictive Gareth but they’ve never forgiven the Welsh for Owain Glyndŵr.

Maybe one day the wounds will heal.

Good article by the great-grandniece of Arnold Toynbee here:

Like all bullies, he targets underdogs – and those may soon include his successor at the Mail, says the Guardian staff columnist Polly Toynbee

Thanks for spelling his name correctly, Herlock.

The Daily Mail is the original purveyor of Fake News and race baiting bulls**t. In 1938 they had complained about the influx of jews from the continent while at the same time coming out in support of Oswald Mosley's brown shirts marching down Mile End Road. They are not called "Daily Heil!" for nothing. In more recent years, they run weekly front-page articles using the following template:

"A Row erupted in Brussels last night over [insert some bollox here]. Barmey EU technocrats have again conspired to raid Britain's coffers. Mr. [insert some tw*t there] said "we will not be pushed around any longer".

Most of what they wrote had of course no correlation to Earth 1.0.

Good riddance, but I'm sure there will be some other idiot running the shop soon.

                        Cheers.

More like "no chapati", since we're talking about the Daily Heil.
