    The Last Munchkin Has Died

It's funny how looking back at The Wizard of Oz, my defining memories are of the cowardly lion and the Munchkins.

    Another iconic memory slips away.

There's a certain poetic beauty in the fact that such a short man had such a long life.

    RIP
    Kind regards, Sam Flynn

Yes, very sad. They used to run that movie every year on television, so I grew up being scared of the "great and powerful Oz" and the flying monkeys, and memorizing all the lyrics of the songs. Like many, the first I learned of Little People as they're called now.
