Preliminary findings from NASA indicate that 7% of Scott Kelly’s genetic expression did not return to normal once he was back on Earth.

Astronaut Scott Kelly's DNA no longer completely matches that of his identical twin brother, NASA says. Both participated in Twin Study, which looked at various genetic markers, and changes were found in Scott's, which did not completely reverse themselves after he returned from a year's stay in outer space.

I can hear sci-fi writers everywhere going "Hmmmm....???"
