Swastikas drawn on Polish embassy in Tel Aviv

It comes after Israel condemned Poland's PM for saying Jews were among perpetrators of the Holocaust.

Looking at the picture, I'm forced to conclude that the BBC has a much more inclusive notion of what constitutes a swastika than do I.

It is of course the Jerusalem Post and the Israeli police that agree with the BBC here. Even though the graffiti is not a swastika, it is close enough to conclude that the intention was to draw a swastika, no matter how challenging this relatively simple figure is for the perpetrator(s).

Then again, I suspect that the real story here is rather the ascendancy of another tin-pot right-wing dictatorship in Eastern Europe. Which would easily lead me to another subject but I won't go down this route on this lovely Monday morning....

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.
