    RIP Glen Campbell

    Thanks for the memories.

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.

I remember the first time I saw him on Shindig! in 1964. He was a rock and roller then. R.I.P. Glen
This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

My mum used to love Glenn Campbell. I 'rebelled' of course. Then when I was a little older and 'hopefully' wiser I listened to his stuff again after hearing R.E.M do a cover version of one of his songs (possibly Witchita Lineman?) Some really great songs. Plus he was in one of my favourite films 'True Grit.'

I remember his TV show and his songs. He was a tough old trouper, going on one last tour while the Alzheimer's was progressing. Rest in Peace, sir.
