Two prominent acting/entertainment figures died this week: the actor and Pulitzer Prize Winning dramatist Sam Shepard, and French actress Jeanne Moreau ("Jules and Jack", "Chimes at Midnight", "The Bride Wore Black",
"Viva Maria"). Both did quite well in their fields, but Shepard's work was curtailed in recent years by his having "Lou Gehrig's Disease".
