    It’s not a Verizon commercial, but rather a dangerous new phone fraud aimed at getting you to utter a single word

    This shouldn't be possible. For your 'yes' to be any use to them, they will have to weld it on to a question from them, offering goods or services. And that welding should be detectable by an analyst.
