Ah, the charming eccentricties of the Brits! I think that if a crowd of 200 bare-beasted Yankee women had tried that in New England, there would have been mass confusion and arrests, depending upon the local ordinaces, and whether or not it was a "clothing-optional" beach.

I think this campaigin is silly, but I see their point. If women cannot "go topless" in public, then why may men? Why specify gender in the law against it? just say, "No one may knowingly expose their torsos to public view, without clothing, unless on private property."
