Sad to hear what happened to Eric with that audience, but he did feed them the opening for that response.
Douglas is the second one of the last major Hollywood stars of the "golden age" of sound films (1927 to 1960) who reached their centennial this year and are still with us. The other one is Olivia De Haviland. And there is the still thriving supporting actor and director Norman Lloyd.
My favorite Douglas films:
1) Lust For Life
2) The Bad and the Beautiful
3) Seven Days in May
4) Gunfight at O. K. Corral
5) Ace in the Hole/"The Big Carnival"
6) Spartacus
7) Paths to Glory
8) Wise-Guys
9) There Was a Crooked Man
10) The War Wagon
Great Idea for a new film list!!! I miss that old thread
1- Champion
2- I Walk Alone
3- Detective Story
4- Gunfight at the O.K. Corral
5- Lust For Life
6- In Harm's Way
7- Lonely Are The Brave
8- Young Man With A Horn
9- Tough Guys
10- (My Personal favorite!!) There Was A Crooked Man
Steadmund Brand
