In an update on BBC News this morning, West Yorkshire police now say that a man who appeared to be a delivery-man, with white coat and bicycle with a basket in front, was seen in the vicinity but never traced. Also, it has been suggested that Elsie, who was an attractive girl, had been meeting someone 'in secret', and it's speculated that she may have been meeting this person at the time of her murder. All very perplexing.

I noted the 50th anniversary (October 9) of this crime on my whole/half centenary threads here as well as on Forums and Websleuths.
