  • 1930 Murder Victim may be identified

Scientists say they have found "two good prospects" as they attempt to identify the victim of a murder in 1930.

The University of Leicester believe that they might finally be able to identify the victim in the 1930 'Burning Car Murder'. The murderer, Alfred Rouse , was apparently trying to fake his own death so as to disappear. Rouse was caught almost immediately, and hanged a few months later, but the victim was never identified.

Thanks Ginger. I remember when I was thinking that the victim was probably Briggs but he has now been eliminated.
This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

I hope they do ID the victim.

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.
