The "Boy in the Box" has been Identified!

The Philadelphia police have announced that, thanks to DNA and genealogical databases, they now know the name of the "Boy in the Box".

The young lad was found, murdered and stuffed into a box, back in 1957. Despite massive police investigations, his identity, and killer, were unknown.

The boy's name will be announced next week.

He lay in a potter's field until 1998, then was reinterred in a cemetery under a headstone reading "America's Child".

65 years after his death, DNA reclaimed his name: Joseph Augustus Zerilli.

His parents are dead, but he has living siblings. Maybe his murder can be solved.
