  • Assume Nothing - Vanishing House

BBC Radio Ulster have another mystery explored in their Assume Nothing series that may interest some.

A few here were intrigued by the 'Did the Right Man Hang' investigation which was broadcast at the end of last year. That series investigated the murder of Minnie Reid and the strange circumstances around the convicted murderer. The journalist who led the investigation joined the thread for a few posts and may have some more information for us in due course.
    Thread is at https://forum.casebook.org/forum/soc...right-man-hang

The series that may interest some here involves a big stone house that vanished. Neville Presho returned to Tory island (Ireland) from New Zealand after 8 years away to find his house has vanished into thin air.

“Conspiracy theorists, she knew, were paranoid by definition, and usually with good reason – they were indeed being watched, largely because they were standing on an upturned bucket, haranguing the sheeple about their wingnut delusions.”

“If you argue with a madman, it is extremely probable that you will get the worst of it; for in many ways his mind moves all the quicker for not being delayed by the things that go with good judgment.”
