    In the UK at least how many notorious /serial killers have taken to testifying in the court stand in their trial?
    Black Panther was one an iirc Delroy Grant was another . Christie also did - although he was not on trial at time -as it was Evans
    I heard it is quite rare - are there any others?

    I can't answer that question but I have to say that what I do not agree with is when the Accused is allowed to become his own attorney. No victim of rape or assault should be allowed to be questioned/cross examined by the person who (in all probability) did this to them. I'm thinking mainly of Ted Bundy.
