In the early 1990s, there was a rash of killings or unexplained disappearances throughout Missouri--Many of these cases remain unsolved.
These are some of them:
I'd love if the brilliant, deductive minds that inhabit this site could take a look at some of these cases. They're all unsolved, all the work of unknown men, who, like Jack, seem to vanish into the night and out of history. Many of these cases are much more recent than JTR and perhaps, if we here research them more, perhaps we could use some of the brain power or deductive reasoning that we apply to Jack, and maybe help with these cases.
Unlike Jack, it's VERY possible that the man or men involved in these cases are still alive, not in jail, still active. Still free and unpunished for their acts. And for anyone with a sister, mother, or female relative in general--that's a frightening thought.
I hate to sound like I'm guilt tripping you guys, but, cases like JTR's or these bother me on a personal, emotional level. It could just as easily be my relative as it could be yours, or, in the case of these women, someone else's wife, sister, girlfriend, niece, granddaughter, etc.
