The Madeleine McCann Mystery

As the Madeleine McCann case is ongoing I hope it's ok if I bring it here for discussion. I believe in years to come this case will be dissected, discussed and disagreed over in much the same way as the Ripper is today. I also believe that while the Ripper case arguably heralded the birth of tabloid journalism the McCann case has revealed it's full power to distort, manipulate and misinform.

I have followed this case for over three years now and have my own theories in regards to the events of the 3rd of May 2007 but I would be very interested in hearing what other members of the forum think. If you require further reading on the case :
