    Hi Dougie,

There is some stuff on the internet about the 3X case. The murdered men's surnames were Mozynski and Sowley if that helps with Google.
This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

Just in. Boulder County DA offficially eliminates any member of the Ramsey family. Believes they have the killer's DNA.

        Hi

The unsolved murder of moneylender Herman Cohen in 1909 is a strange one. Axed to death as he sat at his front room desk. Two of Cohen's relatives sat in a back room kitchen unaware that Cohen was being murdered. Robbery was not the motive, none of the money Cohen had taken that night was taken. A friend of mine has done a lot of research on the Cohen murder, and if he is correct in his identification of the murderer Andersons statement that there are a certain class of Jews who will not give up one of their number to gentile justice would cdertainly apply in this case. I'll say no more

        all the best

I was just talking to my Sister about it today. How the heck does that eliminate them? It means nothing to me as my original theory on the case was that John and Patricia Ramsey were involved in some sort of child pornography involving other Men and or Women and something went terribly wrong and Patricia wrote the note.

This is as bad as the Crippen Case. Hogwash!!

I don't see where it eliminates the Ramseys either. It's not 100% that they are guilty but what other explanation really makes any sense? If they are innocent then this is a crime unique in all history. That DA is a little funny anyway.

Stan.. When the DAs office comes out with a statement something like:

"We are sorry but our Police Dept fouled up so bad that we cant tell what happened."

Then they will be talking some sense.

                        Hi Dougie,

Yes, I've been pretty heavy into crime history for about 35 years now but wasn't aware of this case until about 8 years ago when Ripperana, I think it was, had an article on it.

Should the Lizzie Bordern case come under the category of "unsolved"? or should it be a case of, as in the words of one wit regarding the wallace affair.."Ok you have been found innocent, now tell us all how you did it"?
                          regards

                            Hi Dougie,

Even though I think Lizzie did it, I would certainly consider it an unsolved case because, in addition to the not guilty verdict, there have been some well presented theories put forth that point to other suspects.

I'd also keep the Scottish "not proven" cases in the unsolved category.

A closer call on unsolved or not are cases like O.J. where he was found not guilty in criminal proceedings but responsible in civil court.

Another big question are cases like Bela Kiss who weren't taken to court but where there is virtually no doubt that he did it.

I guess unsolved a matter of opinion in some cases.
This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

Scottish law? always brings to mind one very unusual case, which I have always wanted to turn into a TV program..

This site outlines a theory which I think one of the most surprising murders (if true) of all time..

Also a Ripper connection, Madeleine eventually married William Morris!
