I was quite shocked to hear Tony Dodd had passed away. Dodd was thrust into the UFO scene in 1978 when he had a personal sighting and was a very vocal supporter of the scene. He wrote a fantastic book called "Alien Investigator" and worked with the Yorkshire UFO Society and Quest International, who later published UFO Magazine. What made Todd unique was the fact that he was a Police Officer! Todd was diagnosed with a brain tumour in August 2008 and passed away on March 24th 2009.

His passing is a sad loss!

Howard Menger also passed away, in Feb 2009. Menger will be remembered as a "UFO Contactee".
He claimed to have met and communicated with several beings from elsewhere, and all had peaceful messages for earth!

In other unusual news, a 400 year old tomb was opened in China, and a Swiss Watch was found inside! http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_3122542.html

    I am just as baffled!

This morning I got my 48 hour ECG stuck to me, I cannot get wet, and the storm clouds are gathering over head, so I must get the washing in NOW!!

Thanks Cel! That's one of those where you think you might be seeing some detail but then you're not quite sure.

I got hit by a UFO last Thursday evening except I think it was probably a mild tornado - twisted up my backyard storage shed a bit. There was a sudden roar and debris in the air which was the total of my experience. That was the only damage. I have it back in its foundation, the sides straightened to some degree and the door back on.

Here's a video of a UFO over my state. Supposedly. It's from March 2009. It takes a minute to get to the film. It repeats itself once, but there's a bit more at the end. It's a bit strange.

I have it on good authority that the craft at Roswell was driven by monkeys, carrying parachute dummies, and it hit swamp gas, collided with venus, bounced off a weather balloon and ended up in Mac Brazel's yard!

The bridge is possibly a more modern edition, but still Victorian, and a lovely place to visit. The drain was created to stop flooding of farmland, and is a haven for wildlife, and a wonderful place to visit and eat lunch.

    Glad you enjoyed the video.

    Great video Mike!!

Astronaut Edgar Mitchell says that the 1947 crash at Roswell was actually an extraterrestrial spacecraft.

That's where we back engineered the Veg-o-Matic.

Mike, I overlooked the vid. Sorry! I thought it was part of your signature. The kids are wonderful. Bless em. I hope they remain close all their lives; it's so important. That's something I've been learning.

I saw the photos on your link about Hull. It's a nice little bridge, isn't it? But different from what I imagined for Harris' book, which I've been reading.

    Thank you.

    Hey Anna!

    Hi Celesta,

The alleged bridge, where Stephenson had his alleged encounter could be the one that is still on the spot. If you look at my Stephenson research on Casebook or JTR Forums, you will see that I was there last summer taking pictures and obtaining maps.

This is a thread on the JTRFORUMS where I posted maps and photo's of the bridge and surrounding area.

This is a thread on the Thisisyourmail website, run by Hull Daily Mail discussing Barmston Drain

    Anna,

Thank you, they are little bundles of joy and really look out for each other. Often giving cuddles and holding each other's hands! I am lucky to have such special children, and they are soo caring and really loving towards me.

    Oh Mike,

    They're so cute!!

I just love the way Bradley is waiting for the cue to start singing..not forgetting the yawns. What a lovely lad.

As for Alyssa...she melted my heart, the way she looks up to Bradley while she's sings...she's so pretty.

    That was brilliant.

That was a good episode of TAPS, Mike. I remember it. They did a follow-up to that but I think with less events, if I recall correctly.

D'Onston query, Is the bridge where D'Onston claimed to have his ghostly encounter, with the former lover, still in use?

    Hiya gang,

I watched an episode of Ghosthunters the other night, when they went to Fort Delaware and caught some unusual activity on the thermal imaging camera. There seemed to be a figure on two seperate occasions standing at the end of a tunnel, which was regulated so no one could go in or out!

Anyway, it's Robert D'Onston Stephenson's birthday today, (as well as Jeff's ) so I am going to take a bus or walk into town to take some snaps of his birthplace.

In the meantime, here are my kids, singing a duet,

    Enjoy!!

There was a large collection of material on the Incident at Flamborough regarding the sinking of the navel vessle, including loads of research by Paul Jones I believe.

    Anyway, here are the photo's!

    Hi Mike,

It looks quite good - I will have to review the material tomorrow.

    Congradulations.

The path group even ran that lymph node again and thyroid cancer turned up a second time. It's a strange and perplexing thing, but a miracle in our eyes. The doctor is not even certain that there is a need for radiation.

Right now, I'm not going to speculate on why there would be thyroid cancer with no cancer in the thyroid. There had to be thyroid tissue in the lymph node. I'm too relieved. I was told that this sort of thing is not unheard of.

I want to thank you for your good wishes, and prayers.

    Hi Celeste,

That is excellent news, and I am glad that you got it. That news and the news of the rescue of the Captain off Somalia made this a first week weekend.

Best to you and your brother.
