Hi Stan, I'll be checking that out tonight. It seems that I haven't heard much on UFOs lately. Have you? Not many people have posted personal experiences either.
Hey Arch, It was a paper target, with the outline of a human shape printed on it.

I heard that the Aliens are now suspected of "softening up" the target populace by
infecting them with Swine Flu right before an invasion...
anybody else heard that???
Best regards, Archaic

Hi Anna, Yep, can't turn your back for a minute!
It's just for protection and recreation. This area is getting more than a tad dangerous. If I have to defend myself or my husband or dog, I want to know how to do it properly. God forbid that it should ever happen.
So glad to see you back.Last edited by Celesta; 07-29-2009, 02:36 AM.

Glad you're feeling better, Mike.
I know we all want to see the vid if it's possible. I guess it depends on the people who shot it, eh?
Now, go take a nap.

I was informed earlier today of a UFO sighting over East Hull last night. The light in the sky flew from the North towards the Humber Estuary via the River Hull, and all the time it appeared to be firing white lights out of the front as it flew!!!
Several people witnessed the event and one eyewitness filmed it! I have made enquiries into the event and have hopefully secured a viewing!
I was diagnosed with Swine Flu over the weekend, and am currently unable to leave the house, and am taking Tamiflu. It has been a nightmare, but things are looking up!

Do you get discounts for training and etc with the NRA?
I don't know about training fees because I haven't taken any of their courses. The main reason I'm in is for shooting range privileges.

I may get my own pistol for my birthday coming up. It depends on what we find when go shopping and whether both of us feel comfortable with the same one. Right now he's leaning towards both revolver and semi-automatic. Guess we'll see.

Hi Robert. I've belonged for over 15 years so I'm not really a new or an old member.

Not yet. It's their certification though. Got a nice logo at the bottom. They really do stress the safety aspects and the proper use and care, etc. I was impressed. We still have a lot to learn. This guy gives you a little copy of the certification. You use it at his range and he is authorized to continue to teach you. I told myself I was not going to be intimidated. I didn't even pay attention to any recoil. Of course, this was a heavy pistol so there wasn't much. Just concentrated on what he taught us. It makes a tremendous difference. Need more training on the other types of handguns that we didn't get a chance to try. The course ran from 10:30 until 6 PM. I have the NRA website bookmarked though. If you sign up on it, they send updates and stuff. What a day!
