 How on God's green earth, does Wallace mentioning the Qualtrough affair to Julia make it less likely he killed her? There are multiple obvious reasons he would want to tell her of his "plan"; even if you discount that, there is zero downside if he was going to kill her anyway! I just don't understand the level of logic here, but you dealt with it well.
