Thanks, Jane. When I said that was my only "half-decent" drawing, I meant that the others are thoroughly in-decent, so I'd better not post them here Only kidding!

        • Great Painting

I just tuned in here because a 'latest post' was listed.

Jane, I have just seen your painting posted here and with
the close up bits .. it is just so so good with such wonderful detail.
Not that I have any idea about art, but I can see it is excellent
and that you are very talented.
I now expect to see one of your works in the National Gallery
on my next visit to London!
          All the best,
          Victoria

            • Hi everyone ! .. Long time no see!
I'm loving all the brilliant art work that everyone's put up.... makes me feel quite ashamed of myself for being away for so long!
Anyways, I've took my brain out of the jar and I hope to become a regular here again.
              Much love xxx

                      • St Paul"s and Blackfriars Pier.

Having only today noticed the really lovely art work on this thread, I decided it was time to post something again so here is my latest painting of places along the Thames,of which I have done a series. This one was partly inspired by waking around Cheapside a couple of years back where I had gone to look at Carter Lane and Leadenhall Market.I posted a number of photos at the time of places of interest to the case.
Congratulations Sam on a very impressive drawing----didnt know about that talent.Jane and Suzi I love them all, brilliant stuff. And all the others are fascinating to.

View of Albert Bridge from Battersea Bridge

In the last two I have observed the strange currents that can be observed from Vauxhall and Battersea Bridges.
