After Louisa Canziani (1845-1909)
'Hardly Earned'
About 1875
Process engraving after an oil painting
Museum no. E.900-1965
This print V&A really struck me when I found it online. It was painted much earlier than any of the murders etc and the surroundings look much too luxurious but just little things like the kettle and the boots by the fire. I just wanted to share it with you all.
