  • end of credibility

Hello. I recognize that posting on this thread marks an end to my credibility. (If I ever had any--a dubious supposition!) But, devil take it, I must have a go!

There was a young lady named Polly
Who wore a new bonnet what's jolly.
But when Jack had a look,
    A right fancy he took,
Pulled it off her on Buck's Row, by golly!

    yet again

Hello. May as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb.

There was a young lady named Annie.
Whose penchant for drink was uncanny.
    She tried turning a trick,
    but the taker, I think,
    much preferred innards to fanny.

      here comes another one

Hello. Forgive me, for I know not what I do.

There was a young lady named Liz,
Who in calling out tricks was a whiz.
      When a fight started outside,
      She took it in Stride.
And Schwartz said 'twas none of his biz.

          medicine needed

Hello. I need to take my medicine.

There was a young lady named Kate,
Who went hopping around with her mate.
          For just one more buck,
          Jack's offer she took,
and now she's referred to as late.

            confession

Hello. Rev. Spallek, will you hear ANYONE'S confession?

There was a young lady named Mary.
One night Jack was in no hurry.
            Hutch wanted a bride,
but when he saw them inside--
I'd conclude, but the thought is too scary.

You're the master Lynn, but you've inspired me:

There was a young lady named Alice
Who set out without any malice
              She ran into Jack
              My god- he was back!
And what happened still truly chills us

There was a young lady named Frances
Who was much too drunk for the dances
              She thought Jack was gone
              But found she was wrong
And ended up fresh out of chances

                hospitalization

Hello. Well done! Perhaps someday we shall occupy adjoining padded cells at the Aaron Kosminski Memorial psychiatric hospital. (snicker!)
