    MJK and Music

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was reading the other songs and music on this section and there is song that reminds me of Mary Kelly. It's called Missing by Evanescence. Here are the lyrics.

    Please, please forgive me,
But I wonít be home again.
Maybe someday youíll have woke up,
And, barely conscious, youíll say to no one:
    "isnít something missing? "

You wonít cry for my absence, I know -
    You forgot me long ago.
    Am I that unimportant...?
    Am I so insignificant...?
    Isnít something missing?
    Isnít someone missing me?

    [chorus]
    Even though Iíd be sacrificed,
You wonít try for me, not now.
Though Iíd die to know you love me,
    Iím all alone.
    Isnít someone missing me?

    Please, please forgive me,
But I wonít be home again.
I know what you do to yourself,
I breath deep and cry out:
    "isnít something missing?
    Isnít someone missing me? "

    EVANESCENCE LYRICS

    "Bring Me To Life"
    (feat. Paul McCoy)

how can you see into my eyes like open doors
leading you down into my core
where Iíve become so numb without a soul my spirit sleeping somewhere cold
until you find it there and lead it back home

    (Wake me up)
    Wake me up inside
    (I canít wake up)
    Wake me up inside
    (Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
    (Wake me up)
    bid my blood to run
    (I canít wake up)
    before I come undone
    (Save me)
save me from the nothing Iíve become

now that I know what Iím without
    you can't just leave me
breathe into me and make me real
    bring me to life

    (Wake me up)
    Wake me up inside
    (I canít wake up)
    Wake me up inside
    (Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
    (Wake me up)
    bid my blood to run
    (I canít wake up)
    before I come undone
    (Save me)
save me from the nothing Iíve become

    Bring me to life
(I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside)
    Bring me to life

frozen inside without your touch without your love darling only you are the life among the dead

    all this time I can't believe I couldn't see
kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
Iíve been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything
without a thought without a voice without a soul
    don't let me die here
    there must be something more
    bring me to life

    (Wake me up)
    Wake me up inside
    (I canít wake up)
    Wake me up inside
    (Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
    (Wake me up)
    bid my blood to run
    (I canít wake up)
    before I come undone
    (Save me)
save me from the nothing Iíve become

    (Bring me to life)
Iíve been living a lie, thereís nothing inside
    (Bring me to life)

    Poor MJK,

    Hello you all!

    Cry baby cry
    Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better.

The king of Marigold was in the kitchen
    Cooking breakfast for the queen
The queen was in the parlour
Playing piano for the children of the king.

    Cry baby cry
    Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
    So cry baby cry.

The king was in the garden
Picking flowers for a friend who came to play
The queen was in the playroom
Painting pictures for the childrens holiday.

    Cry baby cry
    Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
    So cry baby cry.

The duchess of Kircaldy always smiling
    And arriving late for tea
    The duke was having problems
With a message at the local bird and bee.

    Cry baby cry
    Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
    So cry baby cry.

At twelve o'clock a meeting round the table
For a seance in the dark
    With voices out of nowhere
Put on specially by the children for a lark.

    Cry baby cry
    Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry cry cry cry baby
    Make your mother sigh.

She's old enough to know better
    Cry baby cry
    cry cry cry
    Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
    So cry baby cry.

Can you take me back where I came from?
    Can you take me back?
Can you take me back where I came from?
Rowboat can you take me back?
    Can you take me back?
Oooh, can you take me where I came from?
    Can you take me back?

    By Lennon-McCartney

    All the best

    Hello you all!

    Sorry, copied without checking;

"Rowboat" is, of course, "Brahma" in the official lyric records!

    All the best

There's also "Take Another Little Piece Of My Heart", originally by Mary Jane Kelly, but subsequently re-released by Dusty Springfield and Beverly Knight. Famously misinterpreted by George Hutchinson, of course, who went way overboard and took things far too literally. But then he released a few classics himself; "Walking In Romford", "On the Streets Where You Live", and "Boulevard of Stifled Screams".

Hello Juniors. Thought 'First Cut Is The Deepest' was by Rod Stewart.
But I know for sure Roddy wrote 'Tonights the Night'. 'Spread your wings and let me come inside', for which was banned on some radio stations for some reason?

        Hello Plang!

Some people seem to think about "it" all the time and think, that the others do like them too!

Anyway, thanks Ally; there is something here from the good old days, after all!

        All the best

          Whiteshapel stalkers Album

Songs on the new album entitled "We're stalkers" on the whitechapel label.
          ******************************************

          Song by old Joe:

          Broke into the old apartment
This is where we used to live

          Broken glass,
          Broke and hungry,
          Broken hearts, and broken bones
This is where we used to live

Why did you paint the walls?
Why did you clean the floor?
          Why did you plaster over
the hole I punched in the door? ..err window
This is where we used to live

Why did you keep the mousetrap?
Why did you keep the dishrack?
These things used to be mine
          I guess they still are,
          I want 'em back

          Broke into the old apartment
          Forty-two stairs from the street
          Crooked Landing
          Crooked Landlord
          Narrow laneway filled with crooks
This is where we used to live

Why did they pave the lawn?
Why did they change the lock?
Why did I have to break it?
I only came here to talk

This is where we used to live
          How is the neighbour downstairs?
How is her temper this year?
I turned up your TV and stomped on the floor,
          Just for fun

I know we don't live here anymore
We bought an old house on the Danforth
She loves me, and her body keeps me warm
          I'm happy there

This is where we used to live
          Broke into the old apartment
Tore the phone out of the wall
          Only memories, fading memories
          Blending into dull tableaux
          I want them back
          I want them back
This is where we used to live
          I want them back
This is where we used to live
          I want them back
This is where we used to live
          I want them back
          --------------------------------------

          Song by George H.

Every breath you take and every move you make
Every bond you break, every step you take
          I'll be watchin' you

Every single day and every word you say
Every game you play, every night you stay
          I'll be watchin' you

          Oh, can't you see
          You belong to me
          How my poor heart aches
          With every step you take

Every move you make and every vow you break
Every smile you fake, every claim you stake
          I'll be watchin' you

Since you've gone I been lost without a trace
I dream at night, I can only see your face
          I look around but it's you I can't replace
I feel so cold and I long for your embrace
I keep cryin', baby, baby, please

          Oh, can't you see
          You belong to me
          How my poor heart aches
          With every step you take

Every move you make and every vow you break
Every smile you fake, every claim you stake
[Every Breath You Take lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

          I'll be watchin' you
Every move you make, every step you take
          I'll be watchin' you

          --------------------------------------
          Song by Jack Himself

Heifer whines could be human cries
          Closer comes the screaming knife
          This beautiful creature must die
          This beautiful creature must die
          A death for no reason
And death for no reason is murder

And the flesh you so fancifully fry
Is not succulent, tasty or kind
          Its death for no reason
And death for no reason is murder

And the calf that you carve with a smile
          Is murder
And the turkey you festively slice
          Is murder
Do you know how animals die ?

          Kitchen aromas arent very homely
Its not comforting, cheery or kind
Its sizzling blood and the unholy stench
          Of murder

Its not natural, normal or kind
The flesh you so fancifully fry
          The meat in your mouth
          As you savour the flavour
          Of murder

          No, no, no, its murder
          No, no, no, its murder
Oh ... and who hears when animals cry

Dude, does your old apartment have a broken window too? LOL

They call her the lady of the night
she's a woman of the world
and easy-living girl with love for sale

That's what they call her the lady of the night
no one seems to know her name
and even less about the place
              from where she came

Every evening when the night is close at hand
you'll find the lady on the Rue d'Avignon
in a half lit hotel doorway the lady advertises warmly
it's just a job but she'll do the best she can

Don't try to change this lady of the night
She's a lot like you and me
and less than what she seems to be

Round here they call her the lady of the night
              in a perfume hotel room
shadows dance upon the wall and fate at dawn
she's no beginner this lady of the night
              never try that funny stuff
              'cause lady can be tough
              be warned!

be warned about what in particular?? OHHHH!!!! I get it!

Well then here ya go, consider yourself warned and armed.
