Just downloaded mine. I’ve had a glance through and it looks quality stuff as ever. Well done to all involved. I look forward to digging in over the next day or so. It was good to see the way that Rip has progressed over the years from the old paper ones. You can see the paper ones improve as they went on and now look at the standard it’s at.
I picked up an old Ripperologist yesterday and a sheet of paper fell out. It was a form for anyone wishing to attend the 1998 conference to be held on 17th, 18th and 19th of April in a hotel in either Ipswich or Norwich for £140. It has a tear-off slip to be sent to R. Howell (who I seem to recall is/was Stewart Evans partner…was she called Rose or Rosie? I could be wrong)Herlock Sholmes

Mr Stow did state he hoped Mr Begg would review it and then the 'truth' would be out....Originally posted by Herlock Sholmes View Post
Good review from Paul Begg. There’ll be some social media fuming going on no doubt.

So much to enjoy!
The look back at early issues and pre internet discussions made me smile. I have a long and quite recent email chain exchange connected to A to Z discussion on an entry for Gilleman/Gilderman! I sort of ID'd him and he wasn't Diemschitz! I kind of miss those times.

I wish you had Jonathan, I never saw or knew about it until the subject was broached by Keith (I think) a couple of years ago in the A to Z discussion. They both made me look closer at things, I made an attempt but nothing was resolvedOriginally posted by jmenges View PostI was kind of hoping to print the Gilleman/Gilderman Begg/Turnbull dispute from Cloak & Dagger just for curious fun but it didn’t make the cut this time. Maybe we can run it in a later issue and you can give an update.
