There has to be a reason Macnaghten named him. When I was here, keeping up with the boards, my thinking was bogged down with all the "facts", including his "gayness" and "sexual insanity" -- which would have had absolutely nothing to do with his despondency after a visit to his mother and fury at the "unfairness" plus his own perhaps ever growing insanity. What doesn't click in any way (to me) is the organ removal. But the Ripperologist article allowed me to see something in a new way.

There is much to consider on both sides of this proposed suspect, but on which ever side your opinion falls, and mine is on the fence, Druitt has to be the most intriguing named suspect of them all.

It should be noted that Grainger was identified by a (Anderson's?) witness as the man he saw in connection with a ripper victim. There is purportedly a photo of Grainger, that I have yet to sight, that is said to bear a remarkable resemblance to Druitt. I am amazed at the twists and turns that take place on this interesting suspect.

        Cheers, George

And if anyone missed the previous issue, there's a link to that at the bottom of that same page.
