Old & Outdated?

Its just another step forward in demolishing some of the old outdated theories that you and others cant let go of.

How does a theory become unacceptable by being 'old and outdated'? Theories which have stood the test of time have usually done so on merit. I hope we never reach the stage where the quality of a theory is measured by its novelty.

If any of these hinted at new revelations concern one of Kates daughters, or have something to do with the ability to determine whether a scarf is red or magenta if viewed after midnight, or whether either the majority or minority of the beat policemen did or did not attach rubber to the soles of their shoes, or is something new about comments made about the cases by the principle characters decades after the so called series occurred, or some new diary which suggests Montague ate his red meat raw, or how Ostrog might have been out on day passes,...then........

Truly revelatory findings relating directly to the unsolved murder cases of Polly Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes or Mary Jane Kelly are exceedingly rare. I'm trying to remember the last one.
