Neil and Rob's article on PC Watkins was a real eye-opener. Plus lots of genuine documents to peruse. Great stuff, chaps.

In a screechy voice: "He's not a City Police Officer, he's a very naughty boy!!"

      Watkins

      John,

When I first saw Watkins record I had to re read a few times as it was hard to believe.

I mean, The Star stated that his superiors rated him as top notch. Yet his early record contradicts this...with one outstanding descrepency.

If possible, I'd really love to read this particular edition of ripperologist.

If anyone has it, can you send me a private message? I'll give you my email and you could send it to me.

        I would really appreciate it.

        Thanks.

Am I glad I read this.

The Rookery article, combined with "The Darkest Streets, The People of the Abyss and The Worst Street in London" gives a great backdrop to the whole phenomena.
