Hello all,
In this book, Adam makes the following interesting comment:-
"..."Unsolved mysteries", are not always as mysterious to the police as they are to the general public. It also sometimes occurs that a mystery of this kind will be eventually cleared up after a considerable lapse of time. As a rule, however, most of them remain unsolved as far as the public are concerned for all time."
It is noted here that he shows reverence to Sir Robert Anderson in this book, and one can easily believe that Anderson's thoughts on this matter may well have influenced H.L.Adam to form this conclusion.
best wishes
Phil
