    Hi Elamarna

Yes, the title is new. On February 5, Mike announced that the book had just been released on Kindle.

    Best regards

    Chris

Interesting. I suppose that would include the Crowley stuff, but perhaps not the Freemasons?

I don't know the contents of the book. However, considering that Mike lives in Hull I should think a lot of the book is about Roslyn D'Onston, born Robert Donston Stephenson, pictured below. D'Onston grew up in the area and he worked in the Customs Service in Hull before he left for the south and became an itinerant writer and possible Ripper suspect.

Oh, that's right, I'd forgotten about him. Thank you for the information.

            Hi Chris,
Although I have not read Mike's book I am sure Hull will loom large.
The cover picture by the way, is of Princes Street, Hull; about a minute walk from the Custom House were Donston Worked.

            Regards
            John

Thanks for that information, John. And of course the Customs Service loomed large in D'Onston's life... he was known to have developed a drinking problem while in his job in the Customs, so his time there was not trouble free. It was also while in the Customs Service off Flamborough Head that he got shot in the leg, the after effects of that wound proving a hamper him later in life.

              Best regards

              Chris
