But yes, anyone buying A-Z make sure you get the 2010 edition. Which seriously needs a Kindle edition, by the way.

I already pissed off Trevor a while back when his Feigenbaum book came out.
Let's just say my research is a lot more thorough.

Tom's book is excellent, and as I've said before, something completely different....but not really a read for a total novice...I say this not condescendingly, but because there are themes and inferences therein that a beginner might not really totally get...
What've you read so far milpool?
All the best

Thanks for the reply.
I'm a fairly hardened student of the Ripper murders. I studied the case from about 1988 until about 6/7 years ago when I took a break and now I'm getting the bug again.
I've read a fair number of books by the great Ripper authors, Rumbelow, Sugden, Fido, Begg, Evans etc.
I've also read the book on Donston Stephenson by Ivor Edwards, I've read a lot about the Diary and Patricia Cornwell's rather unpopular book on Walter Sickert amongst others. I've also got a lot of sourcebooks and general Ripper related material, so I'm pretty well read on the subject.
Now that I'm back on the Ripper scene, I've noticed that there's been another hundred thousand books published! What I'm looking for now is something slightly different to what I've read previously and therefore the Bank Holiday Murders seems an attractive starting point.
However, if anyone has any others that they recommend, I'd be very grateful.
Cheers guys!
