If I recall correctly there were third party attacks on Mark for exposing the plagiarism in The Evil Within trying to make him out to be the bad guy and Mark just dealt with one single chapter. I discovered more instances of plagiarism in Trevor’s Sutcliffe chapter while looking at the Keith Stride stuff. Both Marriott and Stride used the same online source and so I had to first confirm with Trevor that he wasn’t Stride. Lol.
Strange world we live in.

Yes, I remember that Mark came in for some serious criticism but he also had a lot of support.
Back in 2013 none of us could really agree what could or should be done about plagiarism and we still don't.

Yes, as a 'community' we can condemn, and (hopefully) those plagiarized would consider legal action where appropriate? What we shouldn't do is 'keep it in house', 'sort it out privately' or give it a sort of acceptance by not talking about it publicly

As I see it, there are three options :
Board proprietors can remove posting privileges.
Anyone whose work has been plagiarised can take legal action.
Individual posters can take their own action by having no contact with certain people.
And, er, that's it.

Complicated by our personal views of the individuals concerned.....You wouldn't think condemning something generally held to be a 'bad thing' was so contentious

There is another option.

ROFLMAO.... I was just made aware that this sad sack is so bereft of good ideas he can't even come up with an original name for a podcast. He's literally planning to do a podcast called Ripper Cast UK. I'm almost feeling sorry for him at this point. I mean good lord if you can't even come up with an original title, what hope does he have of coming up with original material. At this point it's just too sad to bother with anger, it's pathetic and like laughing at the guy in the gutter, stained with his own piss and ****. Everything he's done has been a second-rate copy of others work and a failure. If anyone agrees to work with him at this point, it's a judgement on their own intelligence and competence.
Let all Oz be agreed;
I need a better class of flying monkeys.
