  • The Escape of Jack The Ripper: The Full Truth About the Cover-up........

Jonathan Hainsworth's new book about Montague Druitt is due in March 2020.

If the blurb on Amazon is to believed, there may be new information about Monty.

Or not, as the case may be.

    Hi Barn,

I had a bit of private info of my own that this one was in the pipeline but I was sworn to silence. I’m looking forward to it.

Herlock, you'll go down in Casebook lore as the one person who could keep a secret.

I bet you're glad that that I've released you from your oath.

Seriously though, if the teasers in the Amazon synopsis are accurate, it promises to be an interesting read.

          Hi Barn,

I don know the details of the research but I knew some info was forthcoming in a new book. I’m looking forward to it. I’ve always felt that Druitt might dismissed to easily. Plus I liked Jon Hainsworth first book.

            Hi .
Seriously, Druitt was the first real modern day suspect, He fits Whites alleged meeting like a glove, However I would be very surprised if he was our man.
            Regards Richard.

I don't have a problem with druitt as a suspect for the ripper, but Hainsworth theory that Mc knew all along and tried to protect druitt by deliberately obsfucating is just too much for me.

There were some arguments made by Jonathan that to me were over the top. Some of the cover up arguments and the similarities between fictional stories and Druitt, didn't improve the suspect argument at all.
All that aside, I am happy to hear there may be new information worthy of a new book.

Druitt is still the best of a bad lot, in my opinion.
                  Regards, Jon S.

                      Hi Phil,
                      The publisher is Amberley Publishing.
If you check the link to Amazon I included in the first post on this thread, you will see other bibliographic details such as number of pages, date of publication etc.
