    Spilsbury.

I am reading an interesting book about Spilsbury.

Lethal Witness : Sir Bernard Spilsbury.

At the height of his career he had been something of a star.

It is both revealing and thought provoking.

By God, sir, I`ve lost my leg.
By God, sir, so you have.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll try and order it from my library.

It gets some excellent reviews on Amazon.

I might be imagining it but wasn’t there a book written not too long ago that was rather critical of him?

I’ve just checked a comparison site that I use. There is a company called speedyhen that’s selling a copy for £8.40 free p+p which is about £6 cheaper than the next cheapest available.

Herlock, are you referring to the book about Spilsbury and the brides in the bath murders, or the book mentioned by George Dixon?

I haven't read either of them, but I see them looming over the horizon.

It was the one that George mentioned. The one about the Brides In The Bath is called The Magnificent Spilsbury. You can get a used copy of this one on eBay for £1.90 free p+p.

              I am now reading this.

              Crime Of The Century

              The Lindbergh Kidnapping Hoax.

The theme is that of of an innocent man being framed and executed, now where have I heard that before..........
