            Hey Fiona

Your appearance on Rippercast was great, and certainly spurred my interest in the book - there was a lot of fascinating stuff there, especially re McCarthy, so you've certainly been pushed up the "I really must buy that one next" list. Best of luck with the launch!

            Cheers,
            B.

I've just got a copy of Worst Street, it's a great read and obviously very thoroughly researched. It's refreshing to read about the Whitechapel murders without having to contend with any **** and bull theories. Any more books in the pipeline Fiona?

                      Hi Fiona

Just to thank you and Ian Allan Publishing for the book launch last night at the Princess Alice.

Everyone from the Whitechapel Society thoroughly enjoyed it and they all bought a copy.

Thanks Coral. Glad you enjoyed the launch party!

Hi Salome - I'm currently working on a book about London's Docklands, which will be out next year. Thanks for your kind words about Worst Street.

                        Kind regards

I'd like to thank Fiona and her publishers for a very pleasant evening last night. Coral had been praising the book for some time and I for one am not disappointed.

It's incredibly easy to read (I'm half way through already), but more importantly, it is jam-packed with fascinating bits of information about the area as well as historical backgrounds to the circumstances which shaped it.

I'd say that this is a MUST HAVE for anybody interested in the history of the East End.
