Couple of new books & tv series?

I appreciate that new books on JTR are quite frequent, however I wondered if anyone here was aware of either of the following forthcoming publications/authors?

The first is this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jack-Ripper-.../dp/1845631269 which apparently is coinciding with a new TV series too? Anyone aware of what channel/broadcast date?

I'm not aware of either author, so would value any feedback regarding the quality of the authors, expectations/hopes for these books, any other relevant insights.

Also, if anyone is aware of the alleged tv series accompanying the MJ Trow book (the cover also refers to the tv series) any info would be gratefully recieved.

Yes author MJ Trow wrote "The Many Faces of JtR" in 1998 and it was very good. Now he has a new one and he names the killer. Will be definately reading it this fall.

There are currently three productions doing the commision circuit on British TV networks. Unless this is with BBC 1 (which seems very unlikely), It seems improbable that it’s with any of the mainstream UK channels. However there are other foreign projects in production.

An update - was flicking through my tv guide for next week & became aware that M Trow's TV programme is on the Discovery Channel this saturday (11 Oct) at 9pm for those in the UK...
