Anyone know of any new JTR books coming out in 2009?
    Best regards,
    Adam

Well, I'd like to put one out this year if I can convince Tom Wescott to write one with me (very quickly).

I have heard there is a new edition of the Man who Hunted Jack the Ripper coming out and the new edition of the A-Z. As for first time publications, ..no clue.

Ally- I believe the Hunt for Jack was penciled in for completion by March time. Though not sure for certain. I am certain that its going to be a doozy.

            Hi Tom.

I think I said to you some time back, that you should write a book on the Ripper case.

There is no one who has impressed me more than you have, in my time at Casebook.

So get that show on the road, and you can count on me to be at the front of the queue to buy it.

            All the best Tom.

              Hi Dylan,

Wow, thanks for that. I do feel there's a Ripper book or two in me, I just lack the discipline, and lately have been putting other things to the fore, such as making money. I honestly don't want to put out a book unless it kicks serious butt, and I don't think I could do that right now, at least not on my own.

              Yours truly,

              Tom Wescott

Pssst, Tom, I think DYLAN likes you. Books is hard graft, unless your name is Trenouth.

                  Hi Monty.

Well, I think that you and Tom are similar in some ways.

You're both straight-talking, no-nonsense guys, who always make a lot of sense.

I respect people like you two. End of story.

                  All the best.

The paperback edition of Robin Odell's Jack the Ripper In Fact and Fiction came out in December, 2008, which is close but no cigar.

William Beadle's Jack the Ripper Unmasked (a hardcover from Blake) came out in early January.

Andrew Cook's Jack the Ripper Case Closed (where have I heard that one before) is supposed to come out in April.

The paperback edition of Evans and Rumbelow's Jack the Ripper, Scotland Yard Investigates comes out this year.

And the new edition of the A - Z, by some guys I never heard of, is supposed to come out in August (a hardcover from Sutton).

Plus much, much more if 2008 is any indication.

                    Wolf.

No, by some guy called David Bullock, who I believe, was a member of these boards.

He used to write for Ripper Notes. It's been suggested that he's actually Ivor Edwards. Funny how they're never seen together. Weren't you in a cabal with him once or twice?
