I'd never read this until I went east this summer and borrowed a copy from a fellow collector. I just finished it and have to return the book fairly soon, so I'd like to pose a couple of questions before I do.
Do we know anything about Patricia Cory? Certainly she types very neatly and, other than being a little weak on punctuation, seems to be a rather bright sort of person; but, yikes, some of her ideas are odd. And where the heck did the James Avery affidavit come from, and why does she make no attempt whatever to state its provenance? One can only assume that, despite the seals, she made it all up. Very strange.
Are we dealing with a complete loony here, or has she established some sort of credibility unknown to those of us on the far side of the pond?
