Glenn - Stewart took other photos as well which may one day turn up. There is on in particular he took of the windows at Hanbury Street where he claims that Annie Chapman's ghost was looking back at him. I've had a friend check the archives at The Society of Paranormal Research (where he sent it for analysis) but there was no luck.

These things appear, usually in the private hands of other researchers or biographers.

I bought a whole series of family photos - unpublished - of the young John George Haigh (the acid bath murderer, of course) a couple of years back. They had been part of the estate of his biographer, Arthur Le Bern. One of them is the actual original of the famous 'choir boy' shot and another is a set of four passport photos of Haigh in his late 20s looking much like he did when arrested.

Don't suppose we have any idea who would have inherited William Stewart's estate?

I think that the whole estate is in the hands of his family. If I remember correctly Andy Aliffe met his daughter & the book he is selling on ebay is actually signed by her.

Her married name is Coram - any relation to Jane?

BTW - I assume Stewart Evans has got a copy.

Hi George.

I have just had my application to be accepted to the community.
I am spending long hours just jumping about various topics and seeing where it takes me.
As a retired Librarian I am particularly interested in the range of NF books published on the subject.

I have a first edition of "Jack the Ripper: A New Theory" by William Stewart and what I think is a first edition of "The Mystery of Jack the Ripper" by Leonard Matters.
