I've stumbled upon a website which concerns the adventures of a Victorian Detective, except with a difference. The character's name is Freekly Oldacre, and from what I can make out he's some sort of physically deformed albino with a sidekick who has restricted growth.
The website has loads of free short stories featuring this Freekly Oldacre, and according to the site there is also a full novel starring the character available to download from Amazon.
It might be worth checking out I certain enjoyed reading the short stories, some of them are very funny. I'll post the link below to the website.
