    Yours Truly, From Hell.

Has anyone read 'Yours Truly, From Hell' by Terrence Lore Smith?
I got it for a quid at a sale and after a couple of chapters I can definitely say it's complete bollocks, and badly written.
    But entertaining.

Is it? I bought it ages ago at a sale too, for 50p (beat you!) but it's still on the shelf with about 50 other crappy books waiting for a very wet, lonely day. Maybe I'll give it a miss--wasn't expecting much.

I often see that book for sale, too. They must have printed thousands of copies. I bought a very fine copy of the hardcover edition at a bookstore in Vermont about 10 years ago for $15 so, obviously, it's not rare. And I can't remember a thing about the plot so, obviously, it can't be very good.

Oh, I didn't imagine it was rare. Except in the 'rarely has a book been this bad' sort of way. Just wondered what other folk thought.

I didn't mean to imply that I thought that you thought it was rare, steje. I was just saying that if I could get a more or less pristine first edition hardcover for 15 bucks, then they must be very easy to come by.

Well I wouldn't go that far. I can't think of any JtR book that should actually be discarded---I mean, I still have a couple of first edition Cornwells (US & UK).
It just started raining here. If it's still raining tomorrow, I might even have another go at Smith's book.

OK. I can't finish it. It's just way too poor.
