For those of us in the States.. looks like it will start Sat January 19th 9:00pm EST.

Saw a commercial last night and looks like it might be fun.. I know I'll give it a shot anyway.

I certainly intend to watch the first episode. After that - it depends.

I don't have cable or satellite. Any ideas how or where I can see this on the internet here in the states?

                Thanks!

I'd guess via BBC iPlayer after the UK transmissions - check first as you'll probably need a proxy-address...I'm not up on the technology but "Curious" knows how to do this as she recently watched a Channel 4 programme in a similar fashion!

                  All the best

I'd read about that, but couldn't remember which thread. With the name, I was able to find the thread. I'm not familiar with the technology either.

                    Thank you!

I liked the first series much more than I expected to. Hope it's as good this time around.

I too thought the first series was much better than hoped, sad thing is I have to stay away from this thread for a few months as here in the States, we wont get series 2 till after the UK run...

I look forward to the return of Ripper Street.

True, it doesn't make me laugh as much as Whitechapel - but you can't have it all.
