Hello Mystery Fiends and Ripperologists!
Although I've been a member on Casebook for years, this is my first time posting.
My husband and I just came into a cashe' of Ripper specials (dvd) and last night just watched the Biography -Late Night , Jack The Ripper doccumentary.
I was most impressed with the quality of the information in this piece, even though the program is several years old. The information holds up quite well against some of the newer doccumentaries, I've seen of late (History Channel's Jack the Ripper, Case Unsolved).
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised with interviews with mega-Ripper authorities, such as Martin Fido, Donald Rumbelow and Stephan Evans!
In the group of JTR we've found is a program from "In search of" (with Leanard Nimoy). I made a comment that watching these programs (Donald Rumbelow was featured) that the Ripper icons we've come to know and appreciate, are like "Merlin" (of Camelot), in that they all seemed to "Youthen" as the night progressed!
Anyway, has anyone else seen this program? How do you think it compares to other JtR Doccumentaries?
Ever,
Gypsyohara
