More Edwardian era, but interesting.
Link to a documentary film called "Waking the Titanic" about fourteen people from the same village in County Mayo, Ireland, who went aboard the ill-fated ship to emigrate to America. Only three survived.
Their story was nearly lost to time, until descendants, relatives, and neighbors all began to share memories, archive materials, and began to honor the Fourteen young people with a memorial ceremony each year.Pat D. https://forum.casebook.org/core/imag...rt/reading.gif

These videos were restored by BFI, and the Youtube uploader never mentions this anywhere. It's hilarious to see comments thanking him from people who clearly assumed he did all the hard work. Youtube is where bootleggers are valued and thanked SO much more than original content providers.

I love the Pathe site for old vids, plus you can search by location/topic in the search bar
