I've just uploaded a video to YouTube full of lots of black and white footage from a walk round the east end I took a couple of friends on back in May. All suitably edited and soundtracked!
A ten minute video of the walk around London's east end, as outlined in my book "Past Traces". Whitechapel and Spitalfields are together often referred to as...
This is the walk that is described in full detail in my book.
I found a few cool links on youtube featuring JTR "music videos" I'm not sure if these have been posted before, but I thought they were worthmentioning nevertheless..
1. A rather goofy cover of Judas Priest's "The Ripper"

2. Song needs no introduction; most of you will know what it is right away. Video cleverly combines live concert footage with a Ripper documentary. Looks great in HD.
Hey everyone. I found another cool Jack the Ripper "music video." although it mostly is just done to clips from the movie "From Hell." I don't know if our friend MC already posted it or not, but it's worth a mention. Good song that was used too.
Hey, I just came across this 2-part video on Youtube. Apparently, it was done as a project for a video class. It presents a reenactment of the events of the Double Event. Although the writers left out some details and made up some for dramatic effect, I have to say, if I was their teacher, I would probably give them an A for effort and getting the basic premise correct. Good job, guys!!! Very errie too.
Hey everyone. Phillip "George" Hutchinson AKA Guildfordghost put up a couple of interesting JTR videos on Youtube. One is a 2 minute behind-the-scenes clip of him working on a new History Channel documentary (looks real good). The other is a video from the LOndon Dungeons Jack the Ripper exhibit from 1998. Real cool videos!!!
I'm being used in a new History Channel documentary on Jack the Ripper - finally, a new angle on things and not covering the same old ground. It will be a R...
Filmed when I was an actor at The London Dungeon. This is one of the few parts of the location that remains laregly unchanged. The later parts of this I fi...
I won't make any deals. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed,de-briefed, or numbered!
For anyone who is interested in night photography of the east end, I've put together this short youtube video, entitled "Under The Cover Of Darkness"...
There is a youtube video that is supposed to be a reenactment of the Maryann Nichols murder. I don't think it's quite factually accurate but, then ,again, there is so much about her murder we do not know. Either way, it is pretty entertaining

P.S. Even though the actors are speaking English, it sounds neither American nor British. If I had to guess, I would say they are speaking with a German accent.
Well done indeed, Andrew.
A great compilation of night photography and appropriate music too!
It would be a nice touch to add a note of locations as they appear perhaps.
