Here is the Times article regarding the newest claims made by the Michigan State University team.

    Absurd.

Jonathan had an article about this topic in Ripper Notes: The Legend Continues, and his criticism of the findings are very on point. Beyond that, though, it looks like these people have realized just how impossible their claims were by any normal interpretation of the evidence and decided to invent up some insane conspiracy theory to explain it all away.

            Hi all-
Just seen the Crippen programme- quite amazing! My old Mum always said that Crippen was innocent so I grew up believing that and to be honest...if I'd been HH and married to Cora....I'd have done for her!!!

The programme does reveal the fact that the bits (no bones) discovered at Hilldrop Crescent were male and that the so called 'scar' found by Spilslbury coud well have been just a crease in the skin of the pieces found.

It then goes on to the pyjama trousers with the 'credited name' which are again spurious...enter Mr Dew...
I'm not about to cast any nastursiums in his/ this direction but watch it and see what you think.......
Just to bed and to have a re-read of 'I caught Crippen'- Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Mercifully Chris!!! Nobody mentioned 'A Watch!' hehe

                  Just seen the programme too....
Why didn't I think of producing a complete and utter load of whatsisnames for a handsome fee from a tv company, and call it evidence.
Oh deep joy....they're doing Jack on Friday!!

                      Hi Anna-
I think there's a lot of good stuff in that Crippen thing- and am always suspicious of Dew and poor old Crippen. I think I've seen the Friday JTR..........don't hold your breath!!! (if I have!)
